RAMS analysis

Reliability, Avalability, Maintainability, Safety/Serviceability/Security aims at:

  • Demonstration that the system meets the dependability and safety requirements
  • Improving the system requirements and design such that the final solution delivers enhaced dependability and safety

RAMS analysis can be carried out:

  • From a development perspective to enhace the product quality
  • From a maintenance perspective (e.g. vehicle warranty)
